We at VLW Ranch are striving to produce horses with good dispositions,
good minds, athletic ability and eye appeal. In everyday language, we
want "Halter" looks, "Cowhorse" ability and "Kid Horse" dispositions.
  All of our mares are started under saddle to determine their ability and
trainability before they produce foals on our ranch.
  Our program is primarily Three Bars based. Our broodmares' bloodlines
include: Doc Bar, Sugar Bars, Three Bars, Driftwood, Two Eyed Jack and
Poco Bueno.
  Our two stallions include a grandson of Doc Bar with King P234 on his
papers. Deuce's Maternal grandsire, Mighty Te Go, holds an AQHA
championship and a NCHA C.O.A. Our other stallion, "Scotch", is an own
son of Scotch Bar Time and out of a granddaughter of Sugar Bars and
Willy Bueno.
  We believe the cross between Deuce's daughters on Scotch and vice
versa, are going to produce the "Athlete with Eye Appeal" that we are
striving to attain.
